Human Resources Office
The HR Office at IOR is responsible for coordinating hiring efforts, providing on- and offboarding for employees and students, and managing their entire life cycle at the Institute.
Maintaining the personnel database is crucial to ensure that all paperwork involved in hiring someone is completed and that everything from the first day to each subsequent day is navigated successfully. Coordinating with the IT Service for email accounts and IT access for new arrivals is also part of the role.
HR provides Payroll with all the details necessary for timely and accurate salary payments.
Information and instructions on various topics are part of the daily support provided to colleagues, such as contracts with IOR, staff rules, permit applications, health insurance, social insurances, and pension funds. HR helps newcomers find lodging by providing specific information and valuable contacts.
HR also administers employee benefits, continuously adding new partners to the existing ones.
Support, legal counsel, and reporting to management must be professional, especially considering the multicultural environment of the IOR community. HR ensures smooth and professional collaboration with all external partners, such as the Immigration office, insurance companies, and other private or public entities, and rounds out HR activities.
