IOR invites applications from outstanding candidates interested in applying for the SNSF Ambizione and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and EMBO fellowships.

Eligibility & Project Alignment
Candidates should propose research projects that align with the scientific interests of the IOR. Please consult the list of IOR research groups to identify potential hosting labs and ensure compatibility.
Application Process
To be considered for IOR pre-selection, eligible candidates must submit the following documents to grantoffice@ior.usi.ch :
- Curriculum Vitae including a summary of major scientific achievements and a complete publication list (maximum 3 pages).
- Research and Career Plan (maximum 2 pages), clearly indicating:
- The IOR lab(s) where the candidate wishes to be hosted
- The expertise they would bring to the lab
- How their proposed research aligns with the lab’s focus and the IOR’s mission
Selection Procedure
All applications will undergo an internal pre-screening process. Candidates with positively evaluated profiles will be contacted directly by the selected Group Leader for further discussion and potential support in developing the fellowship proposal.
