INTERREG Project R&D AbITi: Italian–Swiss Technology Platform for Research and Development of Antibody Therapeutics
Funded by the Interreg Italy–Switzerland program, R&D AbITi is a cross-border platform designed to accelerate the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies against cancer, with a particular focus on prostate and colon cancer.
The consortium includes the IOR Laboratory of Experimental Therapeutics, the University of Insubria Department of Science and High Technology, the University of Piemonte Orientale Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Consorzio Ibis, the Institute of Translational Research (ITR-EOC), and Choose Life Biotech. Alongside its research and development activities, R&D AbITi aims to train a new generation of researchers at graduate and postgraduate levels through dedicated training projects and educational initiatives. In doing so, the project seeks to establish a durable Italian Swiss research network that can continue and expand beyond the project's lifetime.
