Finalist projects for the new IOR building on display from 15 January

The exhibition of the eight finalist projects - including the winning project - for the construction of the new building of the Institute of Oncology Research (IOR), affiliated to Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), will open on Wednesday, 15 January 2025, at 5:30 pm in Sala Patriziale of the Bellinzona Town Hall.
The exhibition will officially open at 5:30 pm with a brief press conference, during which Dr Franco Cavalli (representative of the IOR Foundation), Architect Valentin Bearth (President of the Jury) and a representative of the winning group will speak. Refreshments will be served afterward.
The projects will be displayed in the adjacent hall of the City Hall and will be accessible until 27 January 2025. On weekdays, visitors can view the exhibition from 4 PM to 6:30 PM, while on Saturdays, it will be open from 10 AM to 3 PM. The exhibition will be closed on Sundays.
